HYROX Gent 2026

Flanders Expo

DEC 2026 17–20

HYROX Gent runs Dec 17–20, 2026 at Flanders Expo, a tram ride from the centre of Ghent, with entry at 120 EUR per person and spectator tickets at 10 EUR a day. The start windows for all four days are already published, and several divisions race on two different days, so the ticket you buy fixes the day you race. As of September 7, 2026, the official HYROX race finder listed no 2027 Gent date, and the next Belgian race on it is HYROX Mechelen in March 2027.

Provisional schedule — subject to change by the organiser.

These are the organiser’s provisional start-wave windows from the official event page, which marks them subject to change. Individual start times are linked about 3 days before the event and cannot be changed. Thursday’s HYROX MEN window is printed there as 8:00/1o:50, with a letter o in place of the zero; it is shown here as 08:00–10:50, the only reading that fits before the 11:20 wave that follows. Laps to run and the relay briefing were still TBA on September 7, 2026.

On-site registration opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of each division, and venue doors open at 07:00 for all participants, so an 08:00, 08:10 or 08:20 start does not allow earlier entry. Athletes racing on Thursday, December 17, can register early on Wednesday, December 16, between 5PM and 8PM at the venue. You must bring ID, checking in on behalf of others is not allowed, and during the race weekend you can only check in on the day you compete. Registration issues an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap and timing chip and a bib, and you cannot race without all of them. To enter the hall before your check-in window, go via the Spectators Desk and show your ticket and ID.

Watching, not racing?

Spectator tickets in Gent are 10 EUR (as of Jul 11, 2026). Child and companion rules vary by event — confirm the official ticket terms before you travel. Children under 12 watch free but still need a FREE U12 CHILD SPECTATOR ticket for the day they attend, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult spectator ticket holder. Spectator tickets are sold per day rather than for the whole event.

Road to Worlds

Gent carries qualifying places for the 2027 HYROX World Championships — AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, June 10–13, 2027. The rule depends on your division: Pro divisions qualify every age group except 60+, Doubles Mixed qualifies every age group, and the Open divisions qualify only the 60+ age groups (official ticket terms). Qualifying runs through the May 16, 2027, race weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is HYROX Gent, and is there a 2027 date?
The Season 26/27 race is Dec 17–20, 2026 at Flanders Expo. As of September 7, 2026, the official HYROX race finder listed no 2027 Gent date, and that is not a gap in the calendar: the same list already runs into June 2027, and the only Belgian race it shows for 2027 is HYROX Mechelen on March 3–7. The weekly ticket digest on this page sends one email a week covering newly on-sale stations across every HYROX city, so a future Gent listing turns up there.
Which day and time does my division race at HYROX Gent?
Start windows are published for all four days, and the schedule table on this page lists them division by division. The catch is that several divisions run twice: the open men’s race is on Thursday and again on Saturday, the open women’s race on Thursday and Sunday, and mixed doubles on three of the four days. The day is part of the ticket name, so the ticket you buy fixes the day you race, rather than a day being assigned to you later. Pro solo runs on Friday only and pro doubles on Saturday only. All three relays start on Friday evening between 19:50 and 20:30, but their ceremony is at 22:15, so a relay team should plan a late night. Your individual start time is linked about 3 days before the event and cannot be changed.
How much does HYROX Gent cost?
Solo, pro and adaptive entries are 120 EUR per person. Doubles and relay entries cost less per athlete, and the fee table on this page lists every division. Prices are per person plus a service fee added at checkout, and buying a doubles or relay entry drops a ticket for each team member into your cart automatically. Charity entries are cheaper to buy but commit you to fundraising: the ticket text sets the minimum at 300 EUR for a solo, 500 EUR for a doubles team and 800 EUR for a relay team.
Do spectators need a ticket at HYROX Gent?
Yes, and a spectator ticket is 10 EUR for one day rather than for the weekend, so a supporter who comes on two days needs two tickets. Children under 12 watch free but still need a FREE U12 CHILD SPECTATOR ticket for the day they attend, and under-16s must be with an adult spectator ticket holder. One exception is worth knowing: if you podium on a weekday, the Help Desk gives you free access to your ceremony on production of your ID, but anyone coming to watch you collect the flag still needs a spectator ticket.
When does athlete check-in open, and what do I need to bring?
On-site registration opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of each division. Venue doors open at 07:00 for all participants, so an 08:00, 08:10 or 08:20 start does not get you in any earlier. If you race on Thursday, December 17, you can register the evening before instead, on Wednesday, December 16, between 5PM and 8PM at the venue. Bring your ID: checking in on behalf of someone else is not allowed, and during the race weekend you can only check in on the day you compete. Registration hands you an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap with timing chip and a bib, and you cannot race without all four.
Can I get a refund or change my HYROX Gent ticket?
Only with the Flex Add-On, which gives a 100% refund up to 31 days before your race day and 50% up to 7 days before. Refunds go through your HYROX Account by 7:59AM event time on the cut-off day and exclude the add-on and the service fee. Flex Lite covers name changes only, up to 1 day before your race day. Spectator tickets cannot take the Flex Add-On at all, and HYROX does not transfer entries to other events or change divisions.
How do I get to Flanders Expo in Gent?
Tram T1 runs to the door from Gent Sint-Pieters station, Gent Zuid and Ledeberg, and bus lines 76, 77 and 78 connect the centre of Ghent with the venue. By train, travel to Gent Sint-Pieters and change to that tram or one of those buses. If you drive, the venue counts 3,600 parking spaces across its own lots A1 to A4 and public lots B and C, where you take a ticket on entry and pay at the machines or through the QR code on it. Those are the venue’s standing arrangements rather than race-day ones, because the official event page still lists HYROX parking as TBA.
