Every HYROX weight in kg and lb

The interactive table above shows one division at a time; this reference lists all four singles divisions at once, in kilograms and pounds. Only the five loaded stations change by division — SkiErg, Row and Burpee Broad Jumps add no weight.

StationOpen WomenOpen MenPro Men
Sled Push (50 m, incl. sled)102 kg (≈ 225 lb)152 kg (≈ 335 lb)202 kg (≈ 445 lb)
Sled Pull (50 m, incl. sled)78 kg (≈ 172 lb)103 kg (≈ 227 lb)153 kg (≈ 337 lb)
Farmers Carry (per hand)16 kg (≈ 35 lb)24 kg (≈ 53 lb)32 kg (≈ 71 lb)
Sandbag Lunges (100 m)10 kg (≈ 22 lb)20 kg (≈ 44 lb)30 kg (≈ 66 lb)
Wall Balls (100 reps)4 kg (≈ 9 lb)6 kg (≈ 13 lb)9 kg (≈ 20 lb)

Pro Women lift the men's-Open loads exactly (152 / 103 kg sleds, 2 × 24 kg carry, 20 kg lunge, 6 kg ball) — only the wall-ball target line is lower, 2.70 m instead of 3.00 m. Pounds are a straight conversion (kg × 2.2, rounded, marked ≈); HYROX publishes kilograms only.

How to read the table

Three cells trip people up. "Incl. sled" means the sled figure is the total system weight — sled plus plates — not the plates you add: Open men push 152 kg incl. sled, not 152 kg of plates. Farmers Carry is per hand, so "2 × 24 kg" for Open men is 48 kg carried over 200 m. Wall Balls carry two numbers — a ball weight and a target height: Open women throw 4 kg to 2.70 m, men 6 kg to 3.00 m, Pro women 6 kg to 2.70 m, Pro men 9 kg to 3.00 m, all for 100 reps. SkiErg, Row and Burpee Broad Jumps add no external load and are identical across every division, so they show as one cell.

Doubles, Mixed and Relay: the weight rules people get wrong

The biggest myth is that Doubles weights are halved. They are not. A Doubles Open pair pushes the same 152 kg sled a singles athlete does — only the reps and the running distance are split between partners, and both still run all 8 × 1 km together. Mixed Doubles uses the Men-Open column for both partners (152/103 kg sleds, 2 × 24 kg farmers, 6 kg wall ball). Relay has Open loads only — no Pro relay exists; the women's and men's relay divisions use the Open-Women / Open-Men loads (for a mixed team the rulebook lists both columns without stating per-athlete assignment), with four members each running 2 × 1 km and doing 2 stations.

Why the pounds are approximate

HYROX publishes every weight in kilograms — the 26/27 Singles, Doubles and Relay rulebooks contain no pound figures at all. The lb column here is a straight conversion (kg × 2.2, rounded) and is flagged with ≈ so it is never mistaken for an official number. Earlier seasons once printed a couple of gym-weight equivalents (wall balls and lunges in lb), but 26/27 dropped even those. Treat kilograms as the source of truth and pounds as a training-floor guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How heavy is the HYROX sled?

Open men push a 152 kg sled and pull 103 kg — and those figures include the sled itself, not just the plates you add. Open women push 102 kg / pull 78 kg; Pro men push 202 kg / pull 153 kg. Each is over 50 m (4 × 12.5 m). In pounds that's roughly ≈ 335 lb / ≈ 227 lb for Open men.

How much do the wall balls weigh, and how high is the target?

Women throw a 4 kg ball to a 2.70 m target; men throw 6 kg to 3.00 m; Pro women throw 6 kg to 2.70 m; Pro men throw 9 kg to 3.00 m. Everyone does 100 reps. In pounds those balls are ≈ 9 / 13 / 20 lb.

What is the HYROX farmers carry weight per hand?

Per hand: Open women 16 kg, Open men 24 kg, Pro men 32 kg. So Open men carry 2 × 24 kg — 48 kg total, ≈ 106 lb — over 200 m.

Are HYROX doubles weights halved?

No. Doubles use the same weights as singles — a Doubles Open pair still pushes the full 152 kg sled. Only the reps and running are shared between partners, and both must run all 8 × 1 km together. Use the HYROX time calculator to estimate a finish.

What weights does Mixed Doubles use?

Mixed Doubles uses the Men-Open column for both partners: 152 kg / 103 kg sleds, 2 × 24 kg farmers carry, 20 kg lunges and a 6 kg wall ball.

What weights does a HYROX relay use?

Relay uses Open loads only — there is no Pro relay. In the women's and men's relay divisions the stations use the Open-Women / Open-Men loads; for a mixed team (2 women + 2 men) the rulebook lists both columns without stating per-athlete assignment. Each of the four members runs 2 × 1 km and completes 2 stations.

Are the pound (lb) figures official?

No. HYROX publishes its weights in kilograms only; the 26/27 rulebooks list no pounds at all. The lb figures here are conversions (kg × 2.2, rounded) and are marked with ≈.

What order are the HYROX stations in?

In race order: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Row, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, Wall Balls — each preceded by a 1 km run, for 8 × 1 km in total. See the 8 stations explained for runners.
