HYROX Helsinki 2026

Messukeskus Helsinki

DEC 2026 18–20

If you searched for HYROX Helsinki 2027, that race is real: Helsinki gets two HYROX weekends in Season 26/27, Dec 18–20, 2026 at Messukeskus Helsinki first and April 16 to 18, 2027, in the same hall second, and on September 7, 2026, the April race still offered a notification list rather than a buy button. This page is the December weekend: a solo place is 125 EUR per person, a spectator day is 12 EUR, and start windows are published for all three days. Friday carries 12 of the 14 divisions on its own, from an 08:00 first wave to a relay at 20:20, while Saturday runs five and Sunday four, so the day printed on your ticket is the day you race.

Provisional schedule — subject to change by the organiser.

These are the organiser’s provisional start-wave windows from the official event page, which marks them subject to change. Where the official page pairs an open division with its adaptive division on one line, such as HYROX MEN and HYROX MEN ADAPTIVE, both share the window shown. Times are printed there with mixed zero-padding (8:00 and 08:00) and are shown here padded. Your individual start time inside the window is linked about 3 days before the event and cannot be changed. Laps to run, the relay briefing and the ceremony schedule were all still TBA on September 7, 2026.

On-site registration opens for each division 90 minutes before the first start wave of that division. To enter the hall before your own check-in window, go via the Spectators Desk and show your ticket and ID. You must bring a physical copy of ID, because digital copies and photographs are not accepted, and checking in on behalf of someone else is not allowed. During the race weekend you can only check in on the day you compete. Registration issues an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap with timing chip and a bib number, and you cannot race without all of them. The early athlete registration date, times and location were still TBA on September 7, 2026.

Getting there

Venue addressMessuaukio 1, 00520 Helsinki, Finland
Public transportThe venue is in Pasila, a five-minute walk from Pasila station, where every local and long-distance train in Finland stops. From Helsinki Airport the I and P trains reach Pasila in about half an hour at roughly ten-minute intervals, and a taxi takes about 15 minutes. Tram 2 ends its line directly in front of the venue and runs there from the city centre via Töölö; tram 13 connects Kalasatama metro station to Pasila. Trams, buses and trains do not sell travel tickets on board, so buy one from an HSL machine or in the HSL app before you travel. The taxi rank is in front of the Southern Entrance, where the venue currently warns of construction work and possible queues, at Messuaukio 1, the address HYROX prints for the race, and there are covered bicycle racks next to the Congress Wing.

Watching, not racing?

Spectator tickets in Helsinki are 12 EUR (as of Sep 7, 2026). Child and companion rules vary by event — confirm the official ticket terms before you travel. A spectator ticket covers one person for one day, so a supporter who comes on two days needs two tickets. The ticket text sets the paid age at 12 and over: children under 12 watch free but still need their own free child spectator ticket for that day, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult holding a spectator ticket.

Road to Worlds

Helsinki carries qualifying places for the 2027 HYROX World Championships — AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, June 10–13, 2027. The rule depends on your division: Pro divisions qualify every age group except 60+, Doubles Mixed qualifies every age group, and the Open divisions qualify only the 60+ age groups (official ticket terms). Qualifying runs through the May 16, 2027, race weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a HYROX Helsinki 2027?
Yes. HYROX races in Helsinki twice in Season 26/27, and the second weekend is April 16 to 18, 2027, three days again at the same Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. That is why a 2027 search lands here: the December weekend and the April weekend belong to the same season rather than to two different ones. As of September 7, 2026, the official page for the April race carried a notification sign-up and the line that ticket sales start soon, so no prices, divisions or start times had been published for it, and the official race calendar listed it as an announced date rather than an open sale. That calendar already runs into June 2027, and those two Helsinki entries are the only Finnish races on it. The weekly ticket digest on this page sends one email a week covering newly on-sale stations across every HYROX city, which is where an April release would show up.
When and where is HYROX Helsinki 2026?
The Season 26/27 race runs Dec 18–20, 2026 at Messukeskus Helsinki, whose full official name is the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, at Messuaukio 1, 00520 Helsinki. All three days open at 08:00. Friday is the long one and its last wave starts at 20:20, Saturday's final window opens at 19:30 and Sunday's at 17:20. HYROX is new to the country: its own event page calls May 2026 the debut of HYROX in Finland, so December 2026 is the first of the two Helsinki weekends in this season rather than a long-running fixture.
Which day and time does my division race at HYROX Helsinki?
The schedule table above pairs every division with its start window, and three things in it repay a second look. Friday carries 12 of the 14 divisions on its own, opening with HYROX Men and Men Adaptive at 08:00 and closing with the women's relay between 20:20 and 20:30. Saturday runs only five: HYROX Men, Men Adaptive, Doubles Mixed and the two Pro Doubles divisions. Sunday runs four: Doubles Women, HYROX Women, Women Adaptive and Doubles Men. Seven of the fourteen divisions appear on two different days and you choose which one when you buy, because the race day is part of the ticket name; the four Pro divisions and the three relays have a single day each. Your individual start time inside the window is linked about three days before the event and cannot be changed.
How much does HYROX Helsinki cost, and which divisions can I still enter?
A Solo Open or Adaptive entry is 125 EUR per person and Solo Pro is 130 EUR, the only division that costs more than the headline price; Doubles Open is 120 EUR, Doubles Pro 125 EUR and a relay place 60 EUR, all per athlete, and the fee table above lists every division. Doubles and relay tickets are quoted per person plus a service fee, and the official Finnish shop keeps selling until the end of the final race day. Charity places are cheaper but commit you to raising 300 EUR for the Race for Impact charities, and on September 7, 2026, every charity listing in that shop was off sale. On availability, the same check found each division still open for the day it actually races: the listings that show as unavailable are day-and-division pairs that are not on the schedule at all, not races that have sold out.
Can I get a refund or change the name on a HYROX Helsinki ticket?
Only if you added a Flex option at checkout, and it cannot be added afterwards. The Flex Add-On gives a 100% refund up to 31 days before your race day and 50% up to 7 days before, plus a name change up to the day before; Flex Lite covers the name change alone. Both run through your HYROX account by 07:59 event time on the cut-off day, and refunds exclude the Flex and service fees. Neither option is available on spectator tickets, charity tickets are never refundable, and HYROX does not transfer entries to another event or change your division, so pick your race day carefully.
Do spectators need a ticket at HYROX Helsinki?
Yes, and a ticket covers one person for one day at 12 EUR, so a supporter who comes on two days buys two. The ticket text sets the paid age at 12 and over: children under 12 watch free but still need their own free child spectator ticket for that day, and anyone under 16 has to be with an adult who holds a spectator ticket. Athletes who want into the hall before their own check-in window use the same door, going via the Spectators Desk with their ticket and ID.
Does racing HYROX Helsinki qualify me for the World Championships?
That depends on your division, and the split is not the one most people assume. The ticket text in the official Finnish shop says an open solo or open doubles entry at Helsinki carries World Championship qualification only for the 60 and over age groups. Pro solo and Pro doubles carry it for every age group except 60 and over. Mixed doubles is the one open division that carries it for all age groups. The adaptive and relay listings say nothing about qualification either way. If a Worlds slot is the point of your race, the division you tick at checkout settles your eligibility before you run a step.
How do I get to Messukeskus in Helsinki?
The venue sits in Pasila, and its own guidance puts it a five-minute walk from Pasila station, where every local and long-distance train in Finland stops. From Helsinki Airport the I and P trains reach Pasila in about half an hour at roughly ten-minute intervals, and a taxi takes about 15 minutes. Tram 2 ends its line directly in front of the venue and runs there from the city centre via Töölö, while tram 13 links Kalasatama metro station to Pasila. The detail that catches visitors out: trams, buses and trains do not sell travel tickets on board, so buy one from an HSL machine or in the HSL app before you travel. The taxi rank is in front of the Southern Entrance at Messuaukio 1, which is the address HYROX prints for the race; the venue currently warns of construction work at that entrance and possible queues.
