Watching, not racing?

Spectator tickets in Athens are 12.40 EUR (as of Sep 7, 2026). Child and companion rules vary by event — confirm the official ticket terms before you travel. One spectator ticket covers one day, so Saturday and Sunday were sold separately. Under-12s watch free but still need their own FREE U12 CHILD SPECTATOR ticket for the day they attend, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a spectator ticket. Large strollers are not allowed inside the venue, only compact foldable models.

Frequently Asked Questions

When and where was HYROX Athens 2026?
It ran Sep 5–6, 2026 at Metropolitan Expo, the exhibition centre right beside Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos in Spata, Attica, in Building 603A. HYROX billed it as the brand's first ever event in Greece. Racing was split over two days, and the first wave on each of them went at 10:00.
Is there a HYROX Athens 2027 race?
Not one that HYROX has announced. On September 7, 2026, the official race finder at hyrox.com listed a single Athens entry, the Season 26/27 race on Sep 5–6, 2026, and no 2027 date, even though it already carries dozens of 2027 race dates in other cities. The Greek ticket shop and hyroxgreece.com showed nothing for 2027 either. The weekly ticket digest form on this page emails you when new stations and ticket releases go live across every HYROX city.
How much did HYROX Athens tickets cost?
Solo Open, Solo Pro and Adaptive entries were 124 EUR per person. Doubles and Pro Doubles came in at 95 percent of that per athlete and relay places at 90 percent, with the exact figures in the fee table on this page. A spectator ticket was 12.40 EUR and covered one day. Every price here is per person, not per team.
Which day and time did each division race at HYROX Athens?
Saturday, September 5, opened with HYROX Men and Adaptive Men from 10:00 to 14:10, then Pro Women at 14:40, Pro Men at 15:50 and Mixed Doubles from 17:40. Sunday, September 6, ran Doubles Women, the women's open and adaptive races, both Pro Doubles and Doubles Men, then closed with the three relays between 18:00 and 18:35. The start-times table on this page carries every window. Treat any published plan as a draft: in the July 11 version of this same official schedule the Women's Relay started at 20:20 rather than 18:30, and HYROX only issues individual start times about three days before a race.
Did spectators need a ticket at HYROX Athens?
Yes, and one ticket covered one day, so Saturday and Sunday were sold separately at 12.40 EUR each. Children under 12 watched free but still needed their own FREE U12 CHILD SPECTATOR ticket for the day they came. Large strollers were not allowed inside the venue, and only compact foldable models were permitted.
How do you get to Metropolitan Expo from central Athens?
Metro Line 3 runs east from central Athens (Monastiraki) via Doukissis Plakentias to the Airport terminus next to the venue, and the Suburban Railway airport line stops there too; Dimotiko Theatro in Piraeus is the line's opposite, western end. HYROX also pointed athletes at the X92, X93, X94, X96 and X97 express airport buses. By car it is about 35 minutes from the city centre on the Attiki Odos expressway, 5 km past the airport terminal. On-site parking was free of charge.
