INTERSPORT HYROX Hamburg 2026

Hamburg Messe (B6)

OCT–NOV 2026 28–1

HYROX runs Oct 28, 2026 – Nov 1, 2026 at Hamburg Messe (B6), in the city the official event page calls the sport's birthplace, and racing covers five days from Wednesday to Sunday, so a lot of divisions run midweek rather than at the weekend. Entry is listed at 119 EUR per athlete through the official DACH shop (as of September 30, 2026, athlete tickets were left only for Friday's men's and women's Solo Open, Solo Pro and Relay and for Saturday's men's and women's Pro Doubles; charity and Adaptive entries were no longer on sale), spectator tickets are 15 EUR a day, and the organiser has already published a start-time window for every division (table below). Searching for a 2027 race? On September 30, 2026, the official HYROX race finder listed 2027 dates for other races but showed only this Season 26/27 edition for Hamburg.

Times are the official provisional start-wave windows per division.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday each end with a wave window closing at 20:30; Sunday's last window closes at 19:30. Your individual start time is linked about three days before the event, and the organiser does not permit start-time changes.

Getting there

Venue addressHamburg Messe (B6), Karolinenstraße, Hamburg, Germany
Public transportThree U-/S-Bahn stations are within walking distance. The Dammtor long-distance (InterCity) station sits right by the grounds — about 300 m, roughly an 8-minute walk to the East Entrance. From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof it is about 5 minutes by public transport (one S-Bahn stop on the S2 or S5 to Dammtor, a 2-minute ride). For HYROX itself, admission is through Entrance SOUTH / SÜD rather than the East Entrance the venue signposts for trade fairs. For Entrance South, the venue’s directions name the Messehallen stop on the U2 line.
From Hamburg Airport, about 20 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes by public transport.

Watching, not racing?

Spectator tickets in Hamburg are 15 EUR (as of Jul 11, 2026). Child and companion rules vary by event — confirm the official ticket terms before you travel. Under-12s watch free but still need a FREE U12 CHILD SPECTATOR ticket for that day, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult holding a valid spectator ticket. On Friday and Saturday, the day’s spectator ticket also covers the Elite Series races in Hall B5.

Road to Worlds

Hamburg carries qualifying places for the 2027 HYROX World Championships — AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, June 10–13, 2027. The rule depends on your division: Pro divisions qualify every age group except 60+, Doubles Mixed qualifies every age group, and the Open divisions qualify only the 60+ age groups (official ticket terms). Qualifying runs through the May 16, 2027, race weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is HYROX Hamburg 2026, and which days does it run?
It runs Oct 28, 2026 – Nov 1, 2026 at Hamburg Messe (B6), five days from Wednesday to Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday are full age-group race days, so do not assume you are racing at the weekend. The Age Group races are in Hall B6 and entry is via Entrance SOUTH.
Is there a HYROX Hamburg 2027?
Not an announced one. On September 30, 2026, the official HYROX race finder already carried 2027 dates for other races but listed no 2027 Hamburg date; the only Hamburg race it showed was this Season 26/27 edition on Oct 28, 2026 – Nov 1, 2026. The weekly ticket digest on this page emails you when a new Hamburg date or ticket release appears.
What time does my division start at HYROX Hamburg?
Every division already has an official start window, listed day by day in the table above. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday each finish with a window ending at 20:30, and Sunday's last window ends at 19:30. Your individual start time is linked about three days before the event, and HYROX does not permit start-time changes, so pick your race day carefully.
How much is a HYROX Hamburg entry, and what am I booking?
Solo Open, Solo Pro and Adaptive entries are listed at 119 EUR per athlete, but as of September 30, 2026, the official shop was selling athlete tickets only for Friday (men's and women's Solo Open, Solo Pro and Relay) and Saturday (men's and women's Pro Doubles); every regular athlete ticket for Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, all Doubles Open and Doubles Mixed tickets, Friday's Mixed Relay and Saturday's men's Solo Open were sold out, and charity and Adaptive entries were no longer on sale. Doubles and Relay prices are in the fee table on this page and are also per person, so every member of a pair or team buys a ticket. Charity entries, off sale as of September 30, 2026, cost less but carry a fundraising minimum of 300 EUR for Singles, 500 EUR for Doubles teams and 800 EUR for Relay teams. Every ticket is tied to one named race day, so choose the day as well as the division before you pay.
Do spectators need a ticket at HYROX Hamburg?
Yes, 15 EUR per person for the day you attend. Under-12s watch free but still need a free U12 child spectator ticket, and under-16s must be with an adult holding a valid spectator ticket. On Friday and Saturday, when the Elite Series races run in Hall B5, the day's spectator or athlete ticket admits you to both halls, so no separate Elite Series ticket is needed.
How do I get to Hamburg Messe for HYROX?
Hamburg Messe is central, with three U-/S-Bahn stations inside walking distance. Dammtor is the closest long-distance station, about 300 m from the grounds, and from the city's main station it is a single S2 or S5 stop, a two-minute ride. From the airport allow about 20 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes on public transport. Whichever way you arrive, HYROX admits athletes and spectators through Entrance SOUTH, not the East Entrance named in the venue's general directions.
