Frequently Asked Questions

What is HYROX and why is it different for runners?
HYROX is an indoor fitness race: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional-fitness station like a sled push, wall balls or a SkiErg. Runners arrive with the aerobic engine already built, so they usually lose time on the stations and on running while fatigued — not on the running itself.
How do I predict my HYROX finish time?
Use the finish-time predictor: enter your fresh run pace and rough station splits and it estimates your total, then works backwards to the run pace your goal time needs. Compromised running — running well after a hard station — is the variable most runners underestimate.
What are the HYROX station weights?
They depend on your division. The weights tool lists every load for all eight stations across Open, Pro, Doubles and Relay in kg or lb, transcribed from the HYROX 26/27 Singles Rulebook — including Pro Women, which most references leave out.
How do I find a HYROX race and what does it cost?
The race calendar maps every announced city by region with its dates and divisions; the cost page compares confirmed per-person entry fees. Solo entries are typically the most expensive and Relay the cheapest per person, and HYROX uses dynamic pricing, so entering early is usually cheaper.
Which HYROX training plan should a runner pick?
Match your running level, then your runway: a strong runner leans into strength because the engine is built; a beginner front-loads the aerobic base. Then choose 8, 12 or 16 weeks to build, or 4 weeks to sharpen a peak if you already train and have a race booked.
